Price Transparency
We pride ourselves on having complete price transparency. All of our pricing is black and white and all services are a la carte. During booking or your consultation, please let us know if you would like a break down of your service prices.
We give our best estimate for extra color. Based on your length, density, or desired look, it may be required to mix additional product. Our color services include one bowl of measured product. Each additional bowl of color is a set price based on what product is used.
How does your pricing work?
We are very transparent with our pricing. All of our pricing is “starting at”, pricing may increase based on length, density, services or timing. During your consultation, ask your stylist if they think your service will need extra product.
What is the difference between a Face Frame, Partial, Full and Balayage?
Face frame includes foils around the front of the face.
Partial Highlight includes top to the crown and sides, not underneath.
Full Highlight includes the entire head.
Balayage is the technique used to achieve your end result.
All of our color and highlight services include a glaze.
Can you run my permanent color through my ends?
Simply, no. Our stylists are experienced and educated. As a team of professionals we believe running permanent color through the ends will create unnecessary damage. Running permanent color through ends will continuously open your hair cuticle. An open hair cuticle creates frizz and will make your hair color fade quicker.
To refresh color on your mid-shaft and ends, we will glaze your hair. This gentle product is meant to smooth your cuticle and create shine while depositing color.
How To Prep For Your Color Appointment:
Clean Hair
Did you know color takes better on a clean canvas?
Avoid skincare products like moisturize or SPF on hairline, some skin care can block color from penetrating the cuticle.
Dress Appropriately
Sabit V. Salon is not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings. We provide robes for guests to wear.
We ask that you do not wear turtlenecks, or hoodies for hair appointments. High collared or bulky items can get dirty and may effect the end result of your hair.
Medications
Please be aware medications and medical procedures can affect hair.
Including but not limited to: Thyroid, Blood Pressure, Cholesterol, Antibiotics, Steroids, Anti-depressants, Chemotherapy, Birth Control, Anesthesia and many others.

Take Home Follow Through
Your stylist will recommend products that we believe will work for your specific hair. Investing in professional Shampoo & Conditioner will protect your hair investment and give you the longest lasting results.
For Highlight/Balayage Services:
For prep we recommend that you come in with freshly washed hair. If you have hard water (or have been swimming in a chlorinated pool), we recommend clarifying your hair before your service. Chlorine and mineral deposits on the hair can cause a chemical reaction that Sabit V. Salon will not be liable for.
When can I wash my hair after a color service?
After 24 hours.
What comes with my haircut?
Wash, haircut and blow-dry. Additional hot tool styling requires more time.
What smoothing systems do you have and what are the differences?
We use Cezanne, Oway, and Keratin Express smoothing systems.
Cezanne is formaldehyde-free, and outlasts and outperforms traditional harsh treatments. There is no wait time to wash, color, or style. This treatment reduces dry time by 33-50%, and can last up to 3 months.
Oway reduces frizz and excessive volume. This treatment closes the hair cuticle, restoring brightness, hydration, and softness. It also protects the hair from adverse external agents.
Keratin Express eliminates frizz, shortens blowdry time, and locks in color in just one hour. This treatment provides results lasting up to six weeks, leaving hair looking shiny and feeling revitalized.
What is the difference between a blowdry and a specialty blowdry?
A blowdry includes a wash and style. A specialty blowdry includes a wash and style with formal curls, setting, or extensions.
How do I prep for my Updo?
Please come with hair washed within the last 24 hours. (Updos including full updo and half updo) Blowdry is not included.
For fine-medium hair or those who get oilier, consider washing morning of and using a volumizing mousse or washing the night before and applying dry shampoo to blowdried hair.
For medium-thick hair consider washing the night before with products to get the most flexibility.
All hair textures need to blowdried smooth, unless utilizing natural texture. Do not flat iron or curl your hair, for this will breakdown hair bonds and will have a harder time holding the style your stylist is trying to achieve.
If hair texture/cleanliness is an issue at time of service, we will do our best to accommodate a blowdry but cannot guarantee the availability. This would result in an additional timing and investment.
How do I prep for a makeup application?
Please come in with your skin freshly cleansed and moisturized, clean of all makeup residue.
Leading up to your event, exfoliate skin and lips and moisturize twice daily. This will help to remove any dry, dead skin cells and will improve the texture and brightness of your skin.
How To Prep for Your Spray Tan:
Shave as desired. Shaving after a spray tan will fade the spray tan.
24-48 hours prior to your spray tan:
Exfoliate with a scrub and/or a body brush with extra focus on dry patches like knees, elbows and feet.
Shave as desired. Shaving after a spray tan will fade the spray tan.
Before your spray tan:
Shower and arrive with clean skin, free from any lotions, oils, deodorant, makeup etc.
After Care:
Rinse with circular motions 2-4 hours your application based on your desired results. For your first rinse do not use any soap.
For best results, moisturize regularly.
Waxing:
Can I wax on my current medication?
There are certain medications and products that should not be taken or used if you plan to have a wax. Topical exfoliants used on the area to be waxed should be avoided at least 2 weeks prior to waxing. Products like but not limited to Retin-A, Retinol, Tretinoin, Renova, and hydroquinone, oral acne medications such as Accutane, blood-thinning medications and topical/oral cortisone make the skin more sensitive and increase the likelihood of irritation and other complications. Please check with your doctor if you are unsure if you should be waxed while using a medication.
How to Prep for Body Waxing:
Body hair must be at least 1/4 inch long to wax properly. Hair longer than an inch will need to be trimmed prior to coming into the salon. We do not trim body hair.
Please come freshly showered.
